The name of The Federation shall be the World Federation of Societies for Laser Medicine and Surgery (WFSLMS) hereafter referred to as "The Federation". The contact address of The Federation shall be the address of the current Secretary-General. The Federation shall exist under the umbrella of the International Society for Laser Surgery and Medicine (hereafter referred to as the ISLSM) Topics At the 15th ISLSM congress held at Munich, Prof. Kaplan donated $100 to WFSLMS. The Federation will use this as seed to start a Kaplan-Atsumi Foundation( KappA Foundation). The Foundation will for tax purposes set up an NPO and then call for donations. There are already many applicants including Prof. Atsumi willing to donate, and the Foundation is estimating that $50,000 will be collected up front. This money will be used for the activities of WFSLMS. Therefore by the first congress of WFSLMS in 2005, we would like to take actions world wide with the Laser B-SAC Committee and Education & Training Committee. We ask for your cooperation and donation once the NPO is established.
